12 Beads - Offline Board Game

Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application 12 Beads - Offline Board Game (package name: com.novixalabs.beads12). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

By installing or using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Summary (Plain Language)

12 Beads is a traditional bead board game (also known as 12 Tehni, 12 Guti, and similar regional names). You can play against the CPU or another person on the same device.

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• Game settings (sound, haptics, theme) are stored on your device.
• The free version may show ads (banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded). You can watch an optional rewarded video for 1 life or to unlock Vs Player for the session, or buy a one-time 12 Beads Pro purchase for unlimited lives, Vs Player unlocked, and no ads.
• Optional local daily reminders (off by default) can notify you around 6 PM only if you have not opened the app that day. No reminder data is sent to our servers.
• Where required, we show a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform / UMP) before personalized ads.

2. What the App Does

The app lets you:

• Play vs CPU (lives) or vs another player (hotseat, unlockable)
• Adjust sound, haptics, reduced motion, board themes, and optional daily play reminders
• View in-app help; privacy opens on our website
• Optional advertising and a one-time Pro in-app purchase

3. Information We Access

A. Information stored on your device (local only)

• Preferences such as mute, haptics, reduced motion, board theme, and daily reminder on/off
• Lives remaining and last regen time (local only). Lives regen: 1 life after 30 minutes at zero, or all 5 lives after 150 minutes at zero
• Pro / remove-ads status if you purchased 12 Beads Pro
• Whether Vs Player was unlocked with a rewarded ad for this session (memory only; resets when the app is closed)
• Last app-open date (local only) used to avoid sending a daily reminder on days you already opened the app

This data stays on your device unless you clear app data or uninstall. We do not operate a cloud account or sync service.

B. Device sensors

The app may read the device accelerometer to add a subtle board tilt effect during gameplay. Sensor data is processed on your device in real time and is not sent to our servers.

C. Internet access

The app may use the internet to:

• Load and display advertisements (AdMob and Unity Ads fallback)
• Process in-app purchases through Google Play
• Show consent / privacy messaging (UMP) where required
• Send anonymous analytics events and crash reports to Firebase (Google) in release builds
• Download typography (Google Fonts)

Core gameplay works offline after fonts are cached. Ads, purchases, and analytics need a network connection.

D. Advertising ID (AD_ID)

When ads are enabled and you have not purchased Pro, the app may use the Android Advertising ID (GAID) as permitted by Google Play, together with Google AdMob and related partners, to deliver and measure ads.

E. Local notifications (optional)

If you turn on Daily play reminder in Settings, the app schedules a local notification on your device (around 6 PM in your local time zone). It is sent only if you have not opened the app that day. Opening the app cancels that day's reminder. This feature is off by default, requires your permission on Android 13+, and is disabled for Pro users. We do not use push notifications from a server and we do not collect notification content on our servers.

4. Advertising, Consent & Advertising ID

If you have not purchased 12 Beads Pro, the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob and, as a no-fill fallback, Unity Ads for full-screen interstitial and rewarded videos. Banners appear on menu, mode select, and gameplay (top of screen, away from board taps). Interstitials may appear after a match when you continue (natural break). Rewarded videos play only if you choose Watch ad.

These services may collect or receive advertising ID, IP address, device type, OS version, and ad interaction data, and approximate location from IP (not GPS from us).

Where required (for example EEA/UK), the app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can also limit ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads, or purchase Pro to stop ads.

5. In-App Purchases (12 Beads Pro)

We offer a one-time in-app product (12 Beads Pro, product ID beads12_pro) processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment; we do not store your card details. Pro removes ads, grants unlimited lives, and unlocks Vs Player.

Purchase history is managed by Google Play. Use Restore purchases in the app if you reinstall on the same Google account.

6. Analytics & Crash Reporting

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics in release builds to understand anonymous usage and diagnose crashes. Collection is disabled in debug developer builds. We do not sell this data.

7. Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email, or phone number (unless you email us for support voluntarily)
• Precise GPS location
• Contacts, SMS, call logs, or calendar
• Photos, camera, or microphone
• Passwords or account credentials (there is no app login)

8. Third-Party Services

• Google Play — app distribution and billing
• Google AdMob and Unity Ads — advertising
• Google Firebase — Analytics and Crashlytics (release)
• Google Fonts — typography

9. Children's Privacy

The app is a casual board game suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local settings remain until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond.

To remove all app data: Android Settings → Apps → 12 Beads → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.

11. Your Rights and Choices

• Turn off haptics, reduced motion, or daily reminders in Settings
• Deny notification permission when enabling daily reminders
• Clear app data or uninstall at any time
• Contact us with privacy questions

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
