These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Android TV Remote: Google TV (package: com.novixalabs.smartatvremote), published by Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About the App

Android TV Remote: Google TV is a utility app for Android phones that lets you control a compatible Android TV or Google TV device over the same local Wi-Fi network. Features include a directional pad, touchpad, keyboard, number pad, media controls, app shortcuts, and voice search.

On your device launcher the app may appear as ATV Remote. That name refers to the same application listed on Google Play as Android TV Remote: Google TV.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your country to use this app. If you are under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You may not:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to control devices you are not authorized to use
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by law
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app without our written permission
• Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or any network
• Click ads fraudulently or attempt to bypass advertising or payment systems

4. Requirements & Compatibility

• Your phone and TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
• Your TV must support the Android TV remote protocol and have remote-control services enabled.
• Voice search requires a working microphone and your device's speech-recognition service.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every television model, network configuration, or third-party TV application.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, and software are owned by Novixa-Labs or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

6. Advertising

The free version of the app may display advertisements, including banner, native, and full-screen (interstitial) ads, served through Google AdMob and AdMob Mediation partners (such as Meta, AppLovin, Unity, and Liftoff). The app may also use Unity Ads as a client fallback when mediation returns no ad. Ad availability varies by region and device.

You agree that:

• Ads are part of the free experience unless you purchase Remove Ads
• Third-party ad networks are responsible for ad content under their policies and applicable law
• We may change ad placement, frequency, or partners to improve sustainability and user experience

7. In-App Purchases (Remove Ads)

We offer a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (Remove Ads, product ID smart_atv_remote_pro) through Google Play Billing.

When you purchase Remove Ads:

• Banner, native, and interstitial ads are disabled in the app on that Google account
• The purchase is tied to your Google Play account and may be restored after reinstall
• All remote-control features remain available; only advertising is removed

Prices, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's terms. We do not process payments directly. Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy.

8. Updates & Changes

We may update the app, its advertising, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the app will work on every device, Android version, or TV model, or that ads will always fill or that purchases will always restore instantly.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVIXA-LABS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app or in-app products in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature if required by law, store policy, or operational needs.

12. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the app accesses, including advertising, purchases, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics. 13. Third-Party Trademarks

Android TV Remote: Google TV is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. "Android TV", "Google TV", and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Novixa-Labs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country may still apply.
