Android TV Remote: Google TV
Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application Android TV Remote: Google TV (package name: com.novixalabs.smartatvremote). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

Android TV Remote: Google TV is a utility app that lets you control a compatible Android TV or Google TV device from your phone over the same local Wi-Fi network.

When you tap the voice button, the app uses your device's microphone to capture speech for search on your TV. Speech is converted to text using your device's built-in speech recognition. We do not record, store, or share audio. The recognized text is sent to your TV as keyboard input.

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. These services are provided by Google and are not used to sell your personal information.

We use this information only to measure performance, understand which features are used, and fix bugs. Firebase may process data on servers operated by Google. See Firebase Privacy and Google Privacy Policy.
If AdMob and Firebase are linked in Google's developer consoles, Google may combine certain analytics signals for ad measurement on the developer side. Ad personalization is still controlled by your Android ad settings and by purchasing Remove Ads.
If you have not purchased Remove Ads, the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob and AdMob Open Bidding / mediation. Our app integrates Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) as AdMob bidding partners. Google may also serve ads from other certified networks configured in our AdMob account, depending on your region and fill.
Where required, the app shows a privacy and consent message powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before requesting personalized ads. You can Consent, use Manage options to change purposes or partners, or refuse personalized advertising where the message offers that choice.
If you do not consent to personalized ads, we may still show non-personalized or limited ads where permitted, or fewer ads. You can change choices later in Android Settings → Google → Ads (and any in-app privacy entry when shown). Purchasing Remove Ads disables ad display in the app.

This data is used to deliver, measure, personalize (where allowed), and limit ads, and to prevent fraud. We do not receive your name, email, or contacts from ad networks for advertising purposes.
Location: We do not access your device's GPS or precise location. Ad partners may infer approximate location from your IP address for delivery and measurement.
The app may also use Unity Ads as a client-side fallback when mediation returns no ad for certain full-screen placements.
You can limit ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads, or purchase Remove Ads in the app to stop ad display entirely.

We offer a one-time in-app product (Remove Ads, product ID smart_atv_remote_pro) processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment; we do not store your credit card or bank details.

We do not operate user accounts or social login in this app. Approximate location may still be processed by advertising partners from your IP address when ads are shown (see Section 4).

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
To remove all app data: Android Settings → Apps → ATV Remote → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Connections to your TV use the secure, certificate-based pairing defined by the Android TV remote protocol. Because most processing happens on your device and local network, you remain in control of your data.

The app is offered globally. Data processed on your device is controlled by you on your device. Ad and payment partners may process data in various countries according to their policies. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see the consent flow described in Section 4 when Google determines it is required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at the same URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
