Junk Journal: Scrapbook Art

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Junk Journal: Scrapbook Art (package: com.novixalabs.junkjournal), published by Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About the App

Junk Journal: Scrapbook Art is a creative digital scrapbooking tool for Android devices. It lets you design journal pages with craft papers, stickers, ephemera, photos, and text, then export your work as PNG or PDF and share it.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your country to use this app. If you are under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by law
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its bundled assets without our written permission
• Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, its servers, or content delivery networks
• Click ads fraudulently or attempt to bypass advertising or payment systems

4. Your Content

Journals, photos, and designs you create remain yours. You are responsible for having the rights to any photos or materials you import. Exported or shared files are under your control once they leave the app.

When you import a photo, you use the Android system photo picker. You are responsible for reviewing permission prompts and system settings on your device.

5. Craft Assets & Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, fonts, and craft packs are owned by Novixa-Labs or its licensors. Craft-pack assets may be delivered from our catalog or third-party CDNs under applicable licenses. You may use them inside the app to create personal journals. You may not redistribute pack assets as standalone products.

6. Advertising

The free version of the app may display advertisements, including banner, native, full-screen (interstitial) ads, and optional rewarded video ads when you choose to unlock a craft pack. Ads are served through Google AdMob and AdMob Mediation partners (such as Meta, AppLovin, Unity, and Liftoff). The app may also use a Unity Ads client fallback when mediation does not fill an ad request. Ad availability varies by region and device.

You agree that:

• Ads are part of the free experience unless you purchase Junk Journal Pro
• Rewarded ads unlock individual craft packs only when you choose to watch them and complete the video
• Third-party ad networks are responsible for ad content under their policies and applicable law
• We may change ad placement, frequency, or partners to improve sustainability and user experience

7. In-App Purchases (Junk Journal Pro)

We offer a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (Junk Journal Pro, product ID junk_journal_pro, typically around US $4.99) through Google Play Billing. This is not a subscription — you pay once for lifetime access on your Google account.

When you purchase Junk Journal Pro:

• All banner, native, interstitial, and rewarded ads are disabled in the app on that Google account
• The export watermark is removed
• Every premium craft pack is unlocked
• The purchase is tied to your Google Play account and may be restored after reinstall
• All core scrapbooking features remain available; advertising is removed

Free users may unlock craft packs one at a time by watching rewarded ads instead of purchasing Pro. Prices, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's terms. We do not process payments directly. Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy.

8. Updates & Changes

We may update the app, its craft-pack catalog, advertising, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that exports will look identical on every device or printer, that craft packs will always download, that ads will always fill, or that purchases will always restore instantly.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVIXA-LABS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app or in-app products in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature if required by law, store policy, or operational needs.

12. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the app accesses, including advertising and purchases. Please read it in the app under Profile → Privacy Policy or at https://novixa-labs.vercel.app/junk-journal/privacy.html

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Novixa-Labs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country may still apply.
