These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Emoji Battery: Status bar (package: com.cuteemojibattery.statusbar), published by Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About the App

Emoji Battery: Status bar is a personalization utility for Android devices. It lets you customize the appearance of your status bar and battery indicator using emoji, animations, themes, stickers, and related options. The app may require Android Accessibility permission to display the custom overlay on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your country to use this app. If you are under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by law
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content without our written permission
• Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, its servers, or content delivery networks
• Click ads fraudulently or attempt to bypass advertising or payment systems

4. Accessibility & Device Permissions

To show the custom status bar overlay, you must enable the Accessibility service labeled "Emoji Battery: Status bar" in Android Settings. You acknowledge that:

• Enabling Accessibility is your choice and can be disabled at any time
• The overlay feature will not work if Accessibility is turned off
• You are responsible for reviewing Android permission prompts and system settings on your device

Our use of Accessibility is limited to drawing and updating the overlay and optional gesture detection as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Accessibility to read passwords, messages, or content from other apps.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, and software are owned by Novixa-Labs or its licensors. Emoji, sticker, theme, and animation assets may be delivered from our catalog or third-party CDNs under applicable licenses.

6. Advertising

The free version of the app may display advertisements, including banner, native, and full-screen (interstitial) ads, served through Google AdMob and AdMob Mediation partners (such as Meta, AppLovin, Unity, and Liftoff). Ad availability varies by region and device.

You agree that:

• Ads are part of the free experience unless you purchase Remove Ads
• Third-party ad networks are responsible for ad content under their policies and applicable law
• We may change ad placement, frequency, or partners to improve sustainability and user experience

7. In-App Purchases (Remove Ads)

We offer a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (Remove Ads, product ID emoji_battery_pro) through Google Play Billing.

When you purchase Remove Ads:

• Banner, native, and interstitial ads are disabled in the app on that Google account
• The purchase is tied to your Google Play account and may be restored after reinstall
• All customization features remain available; only advertising is removed

Prices, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's terms. We do not process payments directly. Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy.

8. Updates & Changes

We may update the app, its content catalog, advertising, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the overlay will work on every device, Android version, or custom ROM, or that ads will always fill or that purchases will always restore instantly.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVIXA-LABS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app or in-app products in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and disabling Accessibility for our service. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature if required by law, store policy, or operational needs.

12. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the app accesses, including advertising and purchases. Please read it in the app under Settings → Privacy Policy or at https://novixa-labs.vercel.app/emoji-battery/privacy.html

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Novixa-Labs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country may still apply.
