Novixa-Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application Emoji Battery: Status bar (package name: com.cuteemojibattery.statusbar). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

By installing or using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Summary (Plain Language)

Emoji Battery: Status bar is a personalization app. It lets you customize how your battery icon and status bar look using emoji, themes, stickers, and colors.

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not collect your messages, contacts, photos, or browsing history.
• The app stores your customization choices on your device.
• The free version may show ads (banner, native, and interstitial). You can buy a one-time Remove Ads purchase to disable ads permanently.
• To display the custom status bar overlay, you must enable Android Accessibility for this app. The service is used only to draw and update the overlay on your screen.
• We use Google Firebase for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting to improve the app. This is separate from advertising and we do not sell this data.

2. What the App Does

The app provides:

• Animated emoji / GIF battery icons on the status bar
• Custom status bar appearance (clock, Wi‑Fi, signal icons, colors, wallpapers)
• Stickers and layout options on the status bar overlay
• Optional gesture shortcuts on the status bar
• Download of emoji, sticker, and theme assets from our content servers
• Local saving of your selected preferences
• Optional advertising and optional in-app purchase to remove ads
• Anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting (Firebase) to improve stability and features

3. Information We Access

A. Information stored on your device (local only)

The app saves settings on your phone using Android local storage, for example:

• Your chosen emoji, colors, themes, stickers, and overlay size
• Language preference and onboarding completion flags
• Whether you purchased Remove Ads (premium entitlement flag)
• Cached copies of downloaded images and animations

This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data.

B. Device and system information (to run the overlay)

To show a working status bar replacement, the app may read:

• Battery level and charging state
• Current time (for the clock on the status bar)
• Wi‑Fi and mobile signal status
• Network connectivity

This information is used only to render the overlay on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers for profiling.

C. Android Accessibility Service

When you turn on the overlay, you enable the Accessibility service labeled "Emoji Battery: Status bar".

We use Accessibility solely to:

• Draw the custom status bar and emoji battery on top of the system status bar area
• Optionally detect taps on the overlay when you enable gesture shortcuts

We do not use Accessibility to:

• Read screen content from other apps
• Record keystrokes or passwords
• Monitor messages, emails, or banking apps
• Change settings without your action

You can disable the service at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

D. Internet access

The app uses the internet to:

• Download the content catalog (emoji, stickers, backgrounds)
• Check for catalog updates
• Load and display advertisements
• Process in-app purchases through Google Play
• Send anonymous analytics events and crash reports to Firebase (Google)

E. Analytics and crash reporting (Firebase)

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. These services are provided by Google and are not used to sell your personal information.

Firebase may collect or receive:

• App version, device model, and Android OS version
• Screen views, session duration, and general usage events (for example: overlay applied, Remove Ads unlocked)
• Crash logs, error messages, and stack traces when the app fails
• An app instance identifier (we do not receive your name, email, or contacts from Firebase for this purpose)

We use this information only to measure performance, understand which features are used, and fix bugs. Firebase may process data on servers operated by Google. See Firebase Privacy and Google Privacy Policy.

If AdMob and Firebase are linked in Google's developer consoles, Google may combine certain analytics signals for ad measurement on the developer side. Ad personalization is still controlled by your Android ad settings and by purchasing Remove Ads.

4. Advertising & Advertising ID

If you have not purchased Remove Ads, the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob and AdMob Mediation partners. Mediation may include certified networks such as Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, and Liftoff (Vungle), depending on availability in your region.

These services may collect or receive:

• Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / GAID) and device identifiers permitted by Google Play
• IP address, device type, OS version, and ad interaction data
• Approximate location derived from IP (not precise GPS from us)

This data is used to deliver, measure, and limit ads, and to prevent fraud. We do not receive your name, email, or contacts from ad networks for advertising purposes.

You can limit ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads, or purchase Remove Ads in the app to stop ad display entirely.

5. In-App Purchases (Remove Ads)

We offer a one-time in-app product (Remove Ads, product ID emoji_battery_pro) processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment; we do not store your credit card or bank details.

Google may share with us:

• Purchase confirmation and product ID (to unlock ad-free mode on your device)
• Anonymous transaction tokens required to restore purchases

Purchase history is managed by Google Play. Use Restore purchases in the app if you reinstall on the same Google account.

6. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or require:

• Name, email, or phone number (unless you email us for support voluntarily)
• Precise location (GPS)
• Contact list, SMS, call logs, or calendar
• Photos, files, or media from your gallery

We do not operate user accounts or social login in this app.

7. Third-Party Services

This app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Analytics — app usage and screen analytics (Firebase Privacy)
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reporting (Firebase Privacy)
• Google AdMob — advertising (Google Privacy Policy)
• AdMob Mediation partners — Meta, AppLovin, Unity, Liftoff (each has its own privacy policy)
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases
• Content CDN — hosts emoji, sticker, and theme files (public URLs only)

8. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Cached images/animations are deleted when you clear cache or uninstall.
• Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to your request.
• Ad partners retain data according to their own policies and your device settings.
• Analytics and crash data in Firebase is retained according to Google's default retention periods and is not linked to your identity by us.

To remove all app data: Android Settings → Apps → Emoji Battery: Status bar → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect content delivered over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Because processing happens largely on your device, you control whether Accessibility and overlay features are enabled.

11. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Purchase Remove Ads to disable advertising
• Reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android ad settings
• Refuse or revoke Accessibility permission (the overlay will not work)
• Clear app data or uninstall at any time (this stops local data and future analytics/crash reports from your device)
• Contact us to ask questions about this policy

12. International Users

The app is offered globally. Data processed on your device is controlled by you on your device. Ad and payment partners may process data in various countries according to their policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at the same URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
