Capy Trace: Capybara Drawing & Tracing

Novixa-Labs operates the mobile application Capy Trace (package name: com.novixalabs.capytrace). This policy explains what the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Summary

• No account is required. We do not sell your personal information.
• Tracing progress, saved artwork, streaks, and preferences stay on your device.
• The app uses the lightbox method — your phone screen glows through paper. No camera is used.
• The free version may show ads (banner on main tabs, interstitial after completing a trace, optional rewarded video). You can watch a video to unlock premium capybaras for 24 hours, or buy a one-time Pro purchase to remove ads and unlock all art permanently.
• Where required, we show a Google UMP consent form before personalized ads.

2. What the App Does

• Line-art tracing and on-screen coloring of capybara illustrations
• Lightbox tracing with brightness boost and screen lock
• Seasonal art packs downloaded from a public CDN
• Local gallery saves for finished colorings
• Optional advertising and a one-time Pro purchase

3. Information Stored on Your Device

• Which capybaras you have traced, streak count, and app settings
• Saved trace images you choose to keep in My Traces
• Cached seasonal art files
• Pro / rewarded-unlock status

This data stays on your device unless you clear app data, uninstall, or save images to your device gallery yourself.

4. Camera & Microphone

Capy Trace does not use the camera or microphone. Tracing works by placing paper over your bright phone screen (the lightbox method).

5. Network Use

The app may use the internet to:

• Download public seasonal art manifests and SVG files (GitHub / jsDelivr)
• Load advertisements (Google AdMob; Unity Ads as a no-fill fallback)
• Process in-app purchases through Google Play
• Show consent / privacy messaging (UMP) where required
• Send anonymous analytics and crash reports (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
• Open the Play Store listing or our website when you choose those actions

6. Advertising, Consent & Advertising ID

If you have not purchased Pro, the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob. If AdMob has no fill, Unity Ads may be used as a client-side fallback for banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads. Native ads are not shown in this app.

These services may process advertising ID, IP address, device type, OS version, ad interaction data, and approximate location derived from IP.

Where required, we use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can also limit ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads, or purchase Pro to stop ads in the app.

7. In-App Purchases

We offer a one-time in-app product (Pro, product ID capy_trace_pro) processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment; we do not store your card or bank details. Use restore purchases if you reinstall on the same Google account.

8. Analytics & Crash Reporting

Capy Trace uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous events and crash stacks. These services do not receive your saved artwork or tracing sessions.

9. Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email, or phone for an account (unless you email us for support)
• Camera or microphone data
• Precise GPS location
• Contacts, SMS, call logs, or calendar

10. Children's Privacy

Capy Trace is family-friendly but not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local data remains until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond.
• Ad and billing providers retain data according to their policies.

To remove all app data: Android Settings → Apps → Capy Trace → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
